1인가구의 주 구성 연령층인 20~30대가 코로나 사태로 인해 사회적으로 고립되며 우울증상을 호소하는 문제점이 발생했다. Party House프로젝트는 동성의 친구 4명이 함께 살며 다른 친구들을 초대해 파티를 열기에 적합한 주택을 설계하는 것이 목표이다.

넓은 공용공간 연출을 위해 개인공간 매스가 공용공간들을 둥글게 둘러싼 형태를 갖추게 되었다. 실내 파티공간은 오픈 플로어 구조로 2층까지 층고가 확장되어 개방감을 느낄 수 있도록 하였고 실외 파티공간으로 3층 테라스 공간을 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 개방감있는 공용공간과는 대조적으로 개인 공간으로의 진입은 사적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 여러 개의 동선으로 진입하거나 여러번 꺾어서 들어가도록 유도했다. 또한 개인 방 4개를 모두 복층구조로 두어 실내파티공간, 실외 파티공간 모두와의 연계성을 높였다.

People in their 20s and 30s, the main age group of single-person households, were socially isolated due to the Covid-19 and had problems complaining of depression. The Party House project aims to design a suitable house for four friends of the same gender to live together and invite other friends to have a party.

In order to create a large public space, private space masses have been formed around public spaces. The indoor party space is an open floor structure that extends the height of the floor to the second floor, allowing people to feel open, and allows the use of the third floor terrace space as an outdoor party space. In contrast to the open public space, the entry into the private space was induced by multiple lines of movement or several deflections to allow for private access. In addition, all four private rooms have a double- decker structure to enhance connectivity with both indoor and outdoor party spaces.
