Reading Architecture Lab에서는 건축을 사회적, 문화적, 정치적 구축물로 이해하고 이를 텍스트, 스케치, 모형, 이미지 등 다양한 종류의 건축 미디어를 통해 연구한다. 특히 건축에 있어서 언어와 분위기의 중요성을 인식하고, 시적 상상력을 통해 새롭고 지속가능한 건축생산방식을 연구한다. We understand architecture as a social, cultural and political construct and explore it through various forms of man-made media, such as texts, drawings, models, photographs and digitally produced images. By carrying out historical and theoretical research, we aim to work on devising new architectural approaches of narrating and creating sustainable human built environments in order to supplement the contemporary architectural practice.
