전기자동차, 자율주행, PBV [Purpose Built Vehicle]와 같은 미래 mobility는 자동차가 단순히 이동수단만이 아니라 건축적 공간으로의 변화를 보여주고 있으며, 건축물과의 입체적이고 다층적 결합을 통해 새로운 도시구조와 라이프 스타일의 변화를 예고하고 있다.
'Architecture for PBV’ studio는 PBV, 건축, 인간 간의 관계에 대한 새로운 정의를 내리고 그들 간의 경계를 허물 수 있는 건축적 인터페이스를 제안한다. PBV와 건축물 간의 결합을 위한 'Docking Interface'와 PBV의 수직적 이동을 위한 'PBV Transit System'을 제시하고, 사용 시나리오를 기반으로 오피스, 학교, 병원 건축에 적용하여 사용성을 검증하였다.
Future forms of mobility such as electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and PBV (Purpose Built Vehicles) reveal the transition of automobiles to architectural spaces, evidencing their functionality beyond transportation. This phenomenon foreshadows new urban structures and lifestyles through three-dimensional and multi-layered integration with buildings. We seeks to explore and redefine the relationships between future PBV, architecture, and humans by presenting an architectural interface that can break down the boundaries between them.
The "Architecture for PBV" exhibition presents a "Docking Interface" for the integration of PBV and buildings, and the "PBV Transit System" for the vertical movement of PBV, and their usability was verified by three-dimensional application to office, school, and hospital architecture, based on use-scenarios of their implementation.
